The Great Liberties Whiskey Fire with Las Fallon

On the night of 18 June 1875, a catastrophic blaze broke out in a bonded warehouse in Dublin’s Liberties, releasing more than half a million litres of burning whiskey into the surrounding streets. Rivers of flame surged through the neighborhood as barrels exploded, sparking one of the most extraordinary, chaotic, and legendary nights in Dublin’s long history.
